Universal Smart Triple Play - Run Brake Turn Control Module

The Smart Triple Play Run Brake Turn control module converts rear turn signal lamps to operate as run, brake and turn signals in the most effective way possible.  This Run Brake Turn module supports motorcycles with or without a center tail light!  That means you can have only two lamps in the rear of your motorcycle and have effective signaling for running light, brake light and turn signals.

Advanced features include: adjustable running light brightness to match outer turn signals to center tail light, full-contrast blinker function (from full off to full bright), and a 10-pattern brake modulator that can strobe the brake light function of the center light, turn signals, or both.  This run brake turn control module works with LED lamps or incandescent lamps.

This type of Brake Light Modulation has been a huge success with our Brake Alert feature found in our Blaster-X line of integrated tail lights.  For those who do not have our Blaster-X tail light, and want to increase their brake light visibility, this Universal brake light flasher is certainly for you!

The Universal Smart Triple Play is installed on your motorcycle according to the detailed instructions below.

There may be additional accessories required to correct blinker speed, alarm, cruise-control, ABS and CANbus problems on your motorcycle.  These accessories could not be built into the Smart Triple Play, and are generally optional and specific to different customers needs, so they are sold separately. Note: connecting the rear turn signals to this unit effectively "removes" them from the turn signal system because the turn signal input draws very little current on this module.  This means, the blinker circuit will have less load on it as a result, which can cause fast-blink issues.

Generally speaking, replacing the flasher relay with our ELFR-1 Electronic LED Flasher Relay is the best way to maintain the stock  blink rate on any compatible motorcycle (why do I need to do this?), however some motorcycles will require the use of our Stage II Load Equalizers instead because of flasher relay incompatibility with our ELFR-1.
